We are seeking a Business Development Manager for Victoria who has extensive experience selling professional services to identify, implement and drive new business initiatives and opportunities in line with a strategic Group business development plan. This role will involve hands on end to end solution delivery as well as bid management. Some key responsibilities are:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities to extend and develop Finite's client base nationally.
- Establishing solid relationships with clients at all levels and providing an effective account management service to identify, develop and maximise all sales opportunities.
- Undertaking research into relevant markets in order to ascertain appropriate strategic activity required to achieve new business targets and to create new business leads.
- Obtaining market information through liaison and networking with industry contacts and associations, government bodies and others to ensure new business opportunities are identified and followed through.
About You
You will have proven business to business 'C' level sales experience across multiple industries, such as telecommunications, financial services and utilities, a minimum of 5 years, with the ability to contribute as part of a dynamic team. You enjoy the challenge of identifying and bringing on new major client accounts and developing existing accounts to their full potential. You will also have a professional approach, together with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate first class client relationship development and management skills, as this represents a key part of the role.
